This issue is typically caused by alignment or backset configuration. Please verify the following:

• Spindle Alignment: Ensure the spindle is properly centered, fully seated, and not binding inside the mechanism.
• Backset Setting: Check that the latch matches your door's exact backset measurement—our latches can be easily adjusted between 2-3/8" (60mm) and 2-3/4" (70mm).

Our standard lock sets fit doors with a thickness between 35mm and 45mm (1-3/8" to 1-3/4"). For custom thick doors, please get in touch with our support team prior to ordering so we can provide an extended spindle and screw package.

Insert a standard emergency release tool, a 3mm pin, or an unfolded paperclip into the small emergency release hole located on the exterior rosette, then push straight in to release the lock.

First, check that the main mounting screws securing the inner backplate are completely tight. Next, locate the small set screw on the side of the lever handle or knob neck, and use the included Allen wrench to secure it tightly against the internal spindle.
